Speakary Terms of Service

Speakary is a product of OpenHeight LLC (doing business as Speakary). Effective August 25, 2026.

The service

Speakary provides a business phone number with calling, text messaging, voicemail transcription, and an AI assistant that can answer calls for your business. Speakary is currently an invite-only pilot provided free of charge; features may change as the product develops.

Emergency calling — read this

Speakary is not a replacement for your phone's built-in emergency calling. On an iPhone, dialing 911 in the Speakary app first hands the call to your phone's own dialer, which typically uses the cellular network and the carrier's location services — but that path depends on your device having service, and Wi‑Fi Calling or a missing SIM can change how it routes. If the native dialer cannot place the call, the app can dial 911 over Speakary's internet-calling path instead. Calls placed over Speakary's internet-calling path (inside the Speakary app) route emergency services to the address registered for your number — if you call from somewhere else, responders may be sent to the registered address. Keep your registered address current, and use your device's native dialer for emergencies whenever possible.

Your number

Your business number is provisioned for you and is yours to use for as long as your account is active. If you cancel, the number is taken out of service but held for 30 days, during which you may port it to another provider or restore your account; after the hold it may be released. Deleting your account is different: the number is released back to the carrier immediately and cannot be recovered. If you want to keep the number, port it out before deleting — the deletion screen asks you to confirm you understand this.

Text messaging

Outbound texting activates once carrier registration for your number is approved; until then your number receives texts but cannot send them. You are responsible for texting only people who have consented to hear from your business, and STOP requests are honored automatically and permanently. Reply HELP to any message for help, or email support@openheight.com. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Text Messaging Program page for the full program disclosures.

The AI assistant

When enabled, the assistant answers your calls, tells callers the conversation is transcribed, and leaves you a written summary. Assistant conversations are transcribed, not audio-recorded. You are responsible for how you use summaries and transcripts.

Acceptable use

No unlawful use, no harassment, no robocalling or bulk unsolicited messaging, no artificially inflated traffic. Speakary enforces platform limits (destinations, daily volumes) automatically, and we may suspend service that threatens the platform or violates carrier rules.

Warranty and liability

The pilot is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, OpenHeight LLC's total liability arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid for it in the past twelve months (during the free pilot, zero). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the product evolves and will date every revision. Questions: support@openheight.com. OpenHeight LLC.
